MultiVoice
The MultiVoice product solutions consist of gateways and gatekeepers that allow ordinary telephones to connect to other telephones using a public or private packet network. This is accomplished using a standards based Voice-over-IP (VoIP) gateway that allows telephone calls to be transmitted across a packet network. The VoIP gateways are known as the MultiVoice Gateway for the MAX and the MultiVoice Gateway for them MAX TNT. The VoIP Gatekeeper is the MultiVoice Access Manager. It is a server software product for providing access and authentication management for the gateways. The gateways support the ITU-T H.323 standard for transmitting voice over IP networks. When a voice call is received at a near end MultiVoice Gateway, the voice signais packetized, compressed, and trasmitted over the packet network using standard protocols and voice compression technologies. At the far-end gateway the process is reversed, and the calis delivered over remote PSTN to its intended destination.
The MultiVoice for the MAX product components include:
- MultiVoice Gateway for the MAX
- MultiVoice Access Manager
The MultiVoice for the TNT product components include:
- MultiVoice Gateway for the TNT
- MultiVoice Access Manager
Signaling Note: ISDN is NOT included with the MultiVoice for the MAX Gateway 6000 bundles and must be ordered separately.
